Classic with nails: See here how we varnish, stretch and handcraft a Dutch Art Giclée Canvas Reproduction in our unique style classic with nails. After stretching the Giclée canvas print on 2 cm thick stretcher bars, we finish the sides of this reproduction of Athena by Tein Lucasson in a traditional way; we use custom-made nails and hammer them in by hand for that old fashioned look.Athena by Tein Lucasson

Giclée printing: Our reproductions are printed on museum-quality canvas of 380g. We use a Giclée print technique that guarantees over 100 years of colour permanence. The HDR inks are sprayed on the canvas layer by layer, with 800 nozzles per colour x 10 channels for a total of 8000 nozzles.
Varnish: We then apply several coats of varnish by hand to make the colours come to life and to protect against moisture and UV light. The canvas is stretched by hand on stretcher bars made with timber from sustainable forestry.

One misty morning, Athena and her family were running in the woods. Running in the wild was what she liked most. The group had no idea what horror was about to happen when they entered the open field with the big tree. Athena was the only one to survive the unfair attack. When she recovered, she decided to dedicate her energy to showing the world what had happened, so others could unite and prevent these kinds of horrifying rituals.
Tein Lucasson, Athena.
