Custom made ceramic tile tableaus for your interior

Joost, a painter and decorator from Noordwijk, visited the 'woonstation' in Vogelenzang. There he saw the exhibition of Stephan Gold's ceramic tile tableaus.

He was inspired by the Rijksmuseum 'Still life with flowers' and asked us to create a custom made tile tableau of The Milkmaid for his kitchen.

After finishing the renovation of his kitchen, he sent us a photograph, you can see that Joost truly brought a little bit of Rijksmuseum into his home.

Not only did he place The Milkmaid tile tableau above his AGA cooker, he also painted his walls in a colour chosen from the Rijksmuseum colour palette.

We were inspired and recreated Joost’s kitchen in our studio and gallery in Amsterdam. We painted our walls in the exact same Rijks colour and printed out a life size photograph of his AGA cooker.
