This tile tableau with a reproduction of Still Life with Flowers by Jan van Huysum is handcrafted in our Amsterdam studio. These decorative ceramic tiles are mounted on painted MDF board. Each tableau has a custom-made French cleat hanging system on the back for quick and easy hanging in your home interior or office.

Still Life with Flowers
In the 18th century, Van Huysum brought the extremely popular genre of flower painting to great heights. Instead of the usual dark background, he used a light one with a park landscape, creating the impression that the flowers are set out-of-doors on a balustrade. The décor here consists of a statue of Flora, the goddess of flowers, some cursorily painted foliage and a pond.

Care for your product:
Always handle the ceramic gloss tiles with care. They are for interior decorative use. You can clean your tile tableau with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning product like glassex. Do not hang the tableau in direct sunlight or fading will occur over the years.
