18th century Delft Blue Tile Tableau "Sommelsdijk"

We make this tile tableau exclusively for the Rijksmuseum. It is a replica of a tableau from 1725 that hung in an orphanage in Sommelsdijk, the maker has remained anonymous to this day.

We have reproduced the beautiful Delft blue design on 96 ceramic high-gloss tiles of 10 x 10 cm. The dimensions of the tableau are 80 x 120 cm. The tiles are individually processed and finished. After that we mount them on an MDF panel. On the back of the MDF panel there is a ready-made, simple and sturdy “French Cleat” hanging system, so you can hang your tableau on your wall quick and easy.

Each Tableau is numbered and has a certificate.
